To answer your question, absolutely re Chia Seeds and other superfoods. There was a Chia Berry Smoothie listed in our post. I often feature these in my smoothies for exactly the reason you have detailed – superfoods are packed full of nutrients!
Responding to your question on balancing the flavours: I 100% agree that achieving the perfect balance of flavours in smoothies can indeed be an art! For me, balancing is about experimenting, and testing – combining sweet with fruits with greens, trying out citrus with creamy ingredients and trying not to add too many flavours so that none overpower the other.
I am currently working on a Green Smoothie article, hoping to get the mix absolutely spot on, as I too am a huge fan of the ultimate detox you get from green smoothies, full of goodness!
