The Return of the Biscoff McFlurry (And Why It’s Worth the Hype)
The Biscoff McFlurry is back, a firm fan-favourite — soft serve vanilla, swirled with caramel-flavoured cream and topped with that unmistakable Lotus biscuit crumb.
It’s crunchy. It’s creamy. It’s caramelised perfection.
But why wait for the McFlurry machine to let you down when you can whip this up at home in just a few steps?
Biscoff McFlurry Recipe (No-Churn)
Here’s our quick recipe and method for a homemade Biscoff Ice Cream you can make in no time at all to create your own homemade soft serve ice cream:
Ingredients:
- 600ml double cream
- 397g tin of sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 100g Biscoff biscuits, crushed (save a little for garnish)
- 2–3 tbsp Biscoff spread, gently melted
- Optional: pinch of sea salt for extra contrast
Quick Method:
- Whip the cream to soft peaks in a large bowl.
- Fold in the condensed milk and vanilla until smooth.
- Swirl through most of the crushed biscuits and Biscoff spread. Don’t overmix — keep those ribbons!
- Spoon into a freezer-safe tub, top with the remaining crumbs, and freeze for 6–8 hours.
- Scoop and serve — thick, rich, and way beyond McBasic.

We use crushed Biscoff throughout, a caramel swirl, and a texture that McSoftServe simply can’t compete with.
It’s rich. It’s bold. And it’s freezer-ready when you are.
Meet the New Frozen Star – McCherry Lemonade Swirl
Also joining McD’s new May menu is a Frozen Cherry Lemonade – replacing the much-loved Frozen Strawberry Lemonade Swirl (my little one is rather partial to the Strawberry Lemonade Swirl, and is not impressed it’s been replaced!)
The Frozen cherry Lemonade Swirl is filled with tangy citrus blends, with a sweet cherry twist. It’s bright, icy, and screams “sunshine.”
Can you recreate this combo at home? Absolutely!
🍒 Try Our Homemade Cherry Lemonade Sorbet (No-Churn!)
Here’s our take on McDonald’s all-new Cherry Lemonade Swirl Sorbet, easy to make and a delicious blend of flavours and zing!
Ingredients:
- 300ml fresh lemonade (homemade or bottled)
- Juice of ½ lemon (for extra zing)
- 100ml cherry juice or purée
- 2 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)
- A dash of cherry liqueur (for a grown-up version)
- Optional: Fresh cherries to garnish
Method:
- Mix lemonade, lemon juice, and sugar until dissolved.
- Stir in cherry juice or swirl purée through for a ripple effect.
- Pour into a freezer-safe container and freeze for 4–6 hours, stirring every hour to break up crystals.
Zingy. Juicy. Perfect with a scoop of vanilla… or poured over our Biscoff Ice Cream for a sweet-tart sundae surprise.

The Surge in Sweet-Savoury Flavours!
While the new Frozen Cherry Lemonade swirls onto the scene and Biscoff gets blended into everything, despite the soft-serve drama, McDonald’s has (knowingly or not) tapped into one of the biggest flavour trends out there — sweet and savoury fusion.
It’s not just fast food following the trend; it’s a full-on flavour revolution. Let’s be honest — McDonald’s new flavours sound fun, but you can deliver the goods more reliably. And more creatively.
We’re all about pushing flavour boundaries — and while Biscoff and Cherry Lemonade are getting their moment, we’ve been fusing sweet, savoury, tart and bold since scoop one.
From beetroot chocolate to miso caramel to Brussels sprouts (yes, really) — flavour is our trademark!

McDonald’s might be making flavour headlines this May — but here’s the truth: the best soft serve starts at home. With bold ideas, better texture, and no broken-machine drama.
So go for it – Biscoff like a boss. Cherry Lemonade like a legend. And if the golden arches let you down? There’s a fun and reliable solution!
