Method:

  1. Whip the cream to soft peaks in a large bowl.

Serving Suggestions:

Diamond Ore Ice Cream Sandwiches:

  • Shimmering, gem-like, and highly prized — just like Minecraft’s most famous block.
👉🏽 Use edible glitter or candy pearls to get that diamond sparkle.

❄️ Snow Golems Pumpkin & Coconut Ice Cream

Inspired by Minecraft’s lovable snowy defenders, this frosty ice cream brings together the creamy sweetness of coconut with the earthy richness of pumpkin — a quirky combo that nods to the Snow Golem’s carved pumpkin head and snowy trails.

It’s unexpected, refreshing, and perfect for cooling down after a blocky adventure.

Minecraft-Inspired-Ice-Cream-Recipes-–-Scoops-From-The-Blocky-World-Image-5-Snow-Golems-coconut-and-pumpkin-ice-cream-with-fresh-pumpkins-in-the-background-Frosted-FusionsIngredients:

  • 200g pumpkin purée (canned or homemade, cooled)
  • 100ml coconut milk (full-fat for creaminess)
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup (or honey for a floral twist)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups ice
  • Pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg (optional)
  • Coconut flakes or mini marshmallows, to garnish

Method:

  1. Blend the Base: Add the pumpkin purée, coconut milk, maple syrup, vanilla, and ice to a high-powered blender.
  2. Blitz Until Frosty: Blend on high until the mixture becomes thick and slushie-like. Add more ice or coconut milk to reach your desired texture.
  3. Serve & Style: Pour into clear cups or jars. Top with a sprinkle of coconut flakes or a mini marshmallow “snowball” for fun.
  4. Optional: For younger players, serve with a carved paper pumpkin topper or a Golem face sticker for a Minecraft finish!

Nutritional Information (per serving)

  • Calories 125kcal | Total Fat 5.5g | Saturated Fat 4.8g | Carbohydrates 19g | Sugars 13g | Protein 1.1g | Fibre 2.2g | Salt 0.02g

Notes:

  • Calculated with full-fat canned coconut milk, canned pumpkin purée, and maple syrup.
  • Swapping maple syrup for honey changes the glycaemic profile slightly, but calories stay similar.

💡 Tips:

  • For adults: A splash of spiced rum transforms this into a cheeky frozen cocktail.

  1. This article is such a fun and creative fusion of gaming and dessert! I love how you brought the Minecraft world to life through these ice cream recipes— the Creeper Mint Chip Kaboom with popping candy is especially clever . The DIY “Crafting Table” Sundae Bar sounds like an absolute hit for themed parties . I’m curious—do you have any suggestions for adapting these recipes for kids with dietary restrictions, like gluten or dairy sensitivities? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

    • Hi William,

So lovely to see you back – thank you for your comment. Really glad that you appreciated our Minecraft inspired ice cream article, we had a lot of fun playing with these flavours and styling them to suit Minecraft! Great you appreciate the Creeper Mint Chip Kaboom – that’s a favourite all round! And yes — the “Crafting Table” Sundae Bar is such a fun way to bring Minecraft energy to any dessert table. The kids, old and young alike love it!

Great question about adapting the recipes for dietary sensitivities — most of our recipe are wonderfully flexible:

      Dairy-Free or Vegan?
      – Use coconut cream or oat cream instead of double cream
      – Swap condensed milk for condensed coconut milk
      – Banana-based “nice creams” are great too — perfect for little ones and totally customisable

For more inspiration, head over to our article – Dairy-Free Goodness – How To Make Wholesome Vegan Ice Cream – for recipes and guidance on making vegan, dairy-free ice creams.

      Gluten-Free?
      – The main ice cream bases are naturally gluten-free
      – For any mix-ins (like cookie crumbles or cone toppings), choose certified GF alternatives

  2. Omg my daughter would love this idea as she’s a huge Minecraft fan and these ice cream recipes are so creative!

I’d totally make the Creeper Mint flavor for her, but I’m allergic to mint. Do you have any suggestions for a fun swap that still gives those green Creeper vibes without using mint? Maybe something fruity? Thanks for the inspiration. I’m definitely bookmarking this and might be making it on my vlog over the summer!

    • Hi Marlinda,

Nice to see you again! Thank you for your lovely comment — So glad our Minecraft inspired ice creams article sparked some inspiration and your daughter will love the ideas we shared.

The Creeper Mint Chip Kaboom is such a fun one (especially with the popping candy!). That’s a challenge re being allergic to mint, tough for you.

What about a fruity, mint-free alternative that still keeps those classic Creeper green vibes; thinking a Green Apple & Kiwi Swirl version?

Try blending kiwi and green apple purée into your ice cream base — it’s bright, zesty, and naturally green. Add a little lime zest or a squeeze of juice for that tart punch, and you can even swirl through a kiwi coulis for extra contrast and the seeds will add the specks for the Creeper. You could still sprinkle in some popping candy for the “kaboom” element too!

And if you’re making this on your vlog, we’d love to see it! Tag us @FrostedFusions so we can share and cheer you on — your daughter’s going to love this tasty Creeper tribute!

Wishing you both the sweetest, crafting, summer ahead!

      All the very best,

      Cherie

  3. This is such a fun and creative idea—combining Minecraft with ice cream is a genius way to bring the game world into real life, especially for younger fans (and let’s be honest, adults too!). The themed flavors are not only clever but also make for a super memorable party treat.
I was curious—did you design the flavors based on specific characters or biomes from the game? And do you have a favorite among the recipes you created?
In my opinion, this is a fantastic way to mix fandom with food—fun, imaginative, and perfect for sparking some big smiles. Great job bringing the blocky world into the kitchen!

    • Hi Tommy,

Thank yous for your comment, so glad that you appreciated our Minecraft-inspired article. We loved putting this one together.

You’re right — it’s a big smile generator for fans of all ages (and we’re definitely including adults in that too).

To answer your question: yes, the flavours were inspired by a mix of iconic characters (like Creepers and Villagers) and distinctive biomes and materials from the game.

My son who is a huge Minecrafter brainstormed with me on the key characters and their actions, colours, things that are associated with them etc – like the creepers, being green with black dots – well, that had to be mint choc chip and the fact that they frequently blow up, inspired the popping candy.

      Other inspirations;

Diamond Ore Ice Cream brings shimmer and surprise, like mining in-game.

Snow Golem Slushie pairs pumpkin and coconut to mirror its snowy trails and carved orange head.

If we had to pick a favourite, then probably the Creeper Mint Chip Kaboom, not least because I love mint choc chip ice cream and the popping candy adds a fun layer of sensation when eating it.

So glad that you appreciated our ideas and the link to Minecraft!

Once again, thanks for your encouraging comment.

      Wishing you all the best

      Cherie

  4. Cherie, you’ve outdone yourself again!

As a longtime follower of your delightful creations, I was thrilled to see this Minecraft-inspired ice cream collection. The Creeper Mint Chip Kaboom with popping candy is pure genius—my kids are obsessed with it, and it’s become a staple at our family game nights. The DIY “Crafting Table” Sundae Bar is such a creative touch; it turned our weekend gathering into an unforgettable adventure.

I’m curious, have you considered adding a Redstone Raspberry Ripple or an Enderman Licorice Swirl to the lineup? Also, do you have any tips for incorporating these fun recipes into a birthday party theme? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

    • Hi Alice,

Lovely to see you again, and so glad to hear that you and your kids loved our article and creations.

We’re so happy to hear the Creeper Mint Chip Kaboom is now a game night favourite — and that the “Crafting Table” Sundae Bar brought some real Minecraft magic to your gathering. That’s exactly what we hope for with all our recipes: that we inspire others to enjoy them as we do.

Redstone Raspberry Ripple, yes, loving the sound of that, we of course went with Redstone Pops in our article for variety, but a redstone raspberry ripple, hmm, as The Villagers would say, lol.

Now, as for your suggestion of Enderman Liquorice Swirl – Alice, this is fantastic! Got a thumbs up from my son, too.

Enderman Liquorice Swirl is officially in the ideas cauldron — we love that deep, moody vibe.

A black cocoa ice cream base for a rich, almost Oreo-like depth, liquorice syrup or aniseed extract swirl, maybe a blueberry or blackberry ripple to echo the End dimension’s eerie glow and topped off with edible glitter, or purple popping candy to match the Enderman’s eyes, served in square blocks, stacked high, naturally…

Thank you so much, brilliant concept, love it!

As for birthday parties — where to start?

Here are a few quick ideas we’ve seen work wonders:
-Create a “Build-Your-Own-Scoop” station with toppings labelled as Minecraft blocks
-Use printable pixel-style name tags for each flavour — “Diamond Ore,” “TNT Fudge Swirl,” etc.
-Host a mini challenge: “Who can craft the most epic sundae?”
-And don’t forget blocky bunting and waffle cones stacked like towers!

You might enjoy our Sundae Funday DIY Ice Cream Bar Guide, which is full of styling ideas and allergy-friendly tips too.

Thank you again for always offering up such thoughtful comments, it’s always lovely seeing your name pop up.

I’m off to start working on a recipe for that Enderman Liquorice Swirl now, thank you very much!

Wishing you lots of fun crafting!

      Cherie

  5. Wow!  Your article makes me hungry for sweets!  While I don’t know a lot about the Minecraft world, your delicious pictures of your Minecraft Recipes are truly inviting!  I would especially  like to try your recipe “Villager Vanilla Bean and Honeycomb Crunch” ( I’m a huge fan of Vanilla Bean!) and the other one that really looked like something I would love to try was the “Diamond Ore Vanilla Ice Cream and Blue Popping Candy”! (I love everything Blue and Vanilla)!  Thank You for you’re article.  It was yummy reading it!

    • Hey Shannon,

Thank you so much for your comment! We love that our Minecraft-inspired recipes caught your eye, even if you’re not deep in the blocky world yourself.

It just goes to show that great flavours (and a scoop of imagination!) can appeal to everyone.

Villager Vanilla Bean and Honeycomb Crunch is such a comforting favourite, especially if you’re a vanilla bean fan like us! And you’ve got great taste choosing the Diamond Ore ice cream too – there’s something quite magical about that blue and vanilla combo, especially with a pop and crunch in every bite.

We hope you’ll give one (or both!) a whirl sometime soon.

Who knows, maybe next time you’ll be building more than just scoops, maybe even a little Minecraft curiosity too, ha!

Thanks again for stopping by and for sharing your appreciation.

      All the very best,
      Cherie
